About this event
These one-day classes will help you prepare for your breastfeeding journey. Our classes cover recognizing hunger cues of your baby, techniques on positioning your baby at the breast, successfully latching on, feeding patterns, breast pumps, and breast milk storage and more, along with hands on learning opportunities.
We recommend you take this class if you are considering breastfeeding your new little one. It is also helpful if you are trying to decide on breastfeeding or pumping or both.
A support person is encouraged to attend with you at no additional cost. This will help them support you and baby.
Cost for the class is $40. Fee covers expectant mom and one support person. You only need to register mom. No need to register your one support person that will attend class with you.
We will not have a Breastfeeding Basics class in December. Classes will resume in January 2027 on 1.14.27, 6-9 PM.
