  • Muscogee Nation launched its first gaming app on Jan. 16 that lets players enjoy games anywhere on the reservation + not just in the casino.  FOX 23
  • Last year, purchases at The Market at Pearl helped Children's Medical Charities Association donate over $150,000 to 25 Tulsa nonprofits. Deniece Linn said the event supported organizations that help local children.  FOX 23
  • Skiatook Paws and Claws Animal Rescue held a Bingo Night fundraiser Friday to raise money for the animals in their care.  FOX 23

BUSINESS NEWS

  • An east Tulsa business center at Plaza Santa Cecilia will begin Phase One construction soon to provide essential resources for local entrepreneurs. Eastside Rise executive director Luisa Krug and business owner Judith Annie Cruz say the 15,000 sqft facility will offer mentorship & technical support to help overcome past obstacles.  2 News

  • Tulsa Public Schools opened enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year and received over 5,000 applications in the first three days; families must submit forms by Feb. 6, and they will learn about acceptance in March.  News On 6
  • Childcare providers in Oklahoma are concerned over subsidy changes that end a $5 add-on on April 6 and lower income eligibility to 55% on July 1. Providers warn new rules could force closures amid rising operating costs—risking workforce access.  2 News
  • Tri County Tech is launching a Hybrid Nursing Program that combines online theory with in-person clinical training — designed for students balancing work and family and open to those with a CNA license who live in Oklahoma or Kansas.  FOX 23

  • Dewey Avenue in downtown Sapulpa reopened Friday afternoon after nearly a year of infrastructure upgrades — new storm drains, water lines, and ADA-compliant parking.
