- ➤ Crews began pre-treatment Thursday and will deploy full teams at 4:00 p.m. today to keep key routes open as a winter storm approaches. Officials say 60 workers, 15 trucks, and supplies of brine, salt, and sand will service 660 miles of county road. 2 News
- ➤ Southwest Power Pool has announced a resource advisory from Saturday through Monday as a large winter storm approaches, letting residents track grid conditions on its website where forecasts update every five minutes + comparing short-term load with actual demand. KTUL
- ➤ Tulsa County Highway District and City crews are pre-treating roads, bridges, and overpasses with plows and brine – using about 4,000 gallons to prevent icy patches as winter weather nears.
