- ➤ Tulsa Parks upgraded playgrounds at Challenger 7 Park (3909 West 41st Street) and Norberg Park (3235 South Garnett Road) with new play structures, climbing features, slides, and safety surfacing to support improved play for children. FOX 23

- ➤ Volunteers with the Humane Society of Tulsa helped Creek County authorities remove over 60 animals from a home on West 111th Street South on Feb. 1, and officials said the animals will be evaluated by a veterinarian. 2 News

- ➤ Curbside Haiku is a public art project that displays local haikus along downtown sidewalks to celebrate community voices. Interested residents can submit poems for the 2026 installation — making art part of daily commutes. FOX 23

- ➤ At noon on Sunday, Turkey Mountain will close its dirt trails so they can melt and dry while paved and pedestrian gravel trails remain open (to help prevent erosion). The decision is meant to protect the trails and support volunteer efforts. FOX 23
