  • Puppy Haven Rescue urgently seeks foster families after more than 30 dogs were dumped on a rural property near Tahlequah, as rescue coordinators said prompt help is needed to care for the animals and address reports that two dogs were shot.  FOX 23
  • Housing Solutions launched its new SafeMoveTulsa.com website today to offer a real-time scorecard of Tulsa's homelessness response—tracking progress such as the rehousing of 68 people over four months and detailing the fully funded $11M phase one, with additional funding needed for later steps.  2 News

CULTURE NEWS

  • Organizers announced that Tulsa Mayfest will hit Route 66 in May with a new Road Trip format featuring a Capital Cruise live performance Saturday morning, a youth art gallery at the Campbell Hotel, and a tailgate at Expo Square while planning a shift to the Business District in 2027.  KTUL
  • Jessica Simpson will perform at Hard Rock Live at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Tulsa on May 23 at 8 p.m., with tickets available starting Feb. 13 — $79.50 each.  KTUL

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Jenks voters approved two bond propositions totaling $20.3 million on Tuesday to fund equipment, safety, renovations, and transportation upgrades for local schools (property taxes will not change).  FOX 23
  • Tulsa Public Schools announced that Kerr, Marshall, Mitchell, and Wayman Tisdale Fine Arts Academy were removed from the state's Comprehensive Support and Improvement list after academic improvements. Dr. Ebony Johnson said the district remains focused on student achievement — a sign of growing success.  2 News

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The Oklahoma Department of Transportation will widen Highway 169 between 66th and 86th Street in Owasso starting in February, causing delays during a six-month construction project. Drivers are advised to plan extra travel time.  News On 6
