- ➤ Food On The Move will pack over 300 balanced grocery bags with protein, dairy, and select shelf stable items on Monday, Feb. 23, at 12:45 p.m. at its Food Hub at 3829 E. Apache St. The nonprofit aims to help families facing food insecurity prepare wholesome meals. News On 6
- ➤ 2 News staff volunteered on 2 Cares Day to support local organizations by sorting books at Gaining Ground (boosting literacy), packaging food for the Food Bank, and processing donations at Family and Children's Services Thrift Store, as well as organizing art supplies at The Pencil Box for teachers. 2 News
- ➤ Tulsa is developing Neighborhood Connect (a program that will link residents for local improvement projects). City officials say community feedback shaped the idea and the launch date is yet to be set. News On 6

HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Oklahoma lawmakers advanced a bill that would let pharmacies sell human-grade ivermectin over the counter without a prescription. The public health subcommittee approved the measure 5 to 1 and it now heads to the House Health and Human Services Oversight Committee so consumers can legally purchase the product from local pharmacies. - ➤ Tulsa's historic backstop at Lacy Park (100 years old) is being restored after wind damage last March. The City Parks Department and local experts are repairing the structure that once served the T-Town Clowns, with Opening Day set for early April at 2134 North Madison Place. FOX 23
