  • Following a deadly start to the year, Owasso residents are growing worried as ongoing road construction narrows highway lanes and unsafe driving becomes a concern. Neighbors say the risk is less about the work and more about drivers.  FOX 23
  • Crossover Community Impact is planting 200 fruit trees in Hawthorne using a $45K grant from Oklahoma Forestry Services+70 neighbors have volunteered, and the group will add 150 more trees in the fall to help boost food access and beautify the neighborhood.  2 News

  • The Tulsa Zoo is hosting its ZooLIGHTful after-hours lantern festival from March 26-June 7. The event features over a mile of handcrafted Chinese animal lanterns and interactive displays for evening visitors and is open Thursday-Sunday from 6-9:30 p.m.  KTUL

  • The Collinsville Home Representative Club is hosting a TikTok-style video challenge for 7th and 8th graders to show what makes Collinsville awesome. Entries must be submitted by March 21 + a winner chosen by April 4 by a judging panel including FOX23’s Devyn Lyon.  FOX 23

  • Candidate Jake Merrick is running the full 400-mile stretch of Route 66 to meet voters as part of a 66-day journey that takes him through Tulsa this week. His run aims to overcome funding gaps by connecting directly with local communities.  FOX 23
