  • The 3rd annual American Veterans Tours Car Show took place Saturday morning in Claremore to support trips for veterans to historic sites. A red flag warning is in effect today from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. in Tulsa — windy, hot conditions could fuel fast-spreading fires.  FOX 23
  • Families and community members in Beggs came together on March 21 to clear debris at local schools after an EF3 tornado damaged property earlier this month. School officials said classes will resume Monday, March 23 as cleanup efforts support safe transitions for students.  2 News

  • Oklahoma Monarch Society data shows eastern monarch butterflies increased for the second straight year, with overwintering numbers rising to 2.93 hectares (up from 1.79 hectares last year). Moist weather boosting milkweed growth has experts hopeful the species will soon reach a resilient threshold.  FOX 23

  • Broken Arrow voters will decide on April 7 whether to fund renovations at the Veterans Center (upgrades include expanded parking and an extra 1,000 sqft banquet hall) as part of a bond proposal that keeps property taxes unchanged.  KTUL
  • Tulsa posted updated genealogy details online about 10 burials in Section 20 at Oaklawn Cemetery as it continues its investigation into graves linked to the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre; revised surnames and location clues follow an October 2025 excavation that uncovered 83 graves.  KTUL
  • Pastor Wulfrano Portillo Castro was detained during a routine USCIS appointment on March 10 and sent to Mexico, leaving his church family at Iglesia Cristiana la Hermosa without their anchor. His daughter said the family remains hopeful that his pending U-Visa application will soon restore their unity.  2 News
