- ➤ In Owasso, the nonprofit Owasso Community Resources serves about 300 families each week with food assistance but is struggling to keep shelves stocked due to rising demand and USDA budget cuts. - ➤ Tulsa firefighters responded to smoke seen coming from a building near S Peoria Ave and E 5th Place at 7 a.m. on Monday — no flames were visible and officials did not identify a cause. KTUL
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Tulsa Police went to QuikTrip at 11th and Garnett Sunday night at 7:45 p.m.—they found 22-year-old Anthony Banuelos with gunshot wounds after a car fight who later died—and the suspect turned himself in and was released pending further investigation. KTUL

- ➤ Tulsa Mayor Monroe Nichols honored city worker Luke Ledoux on Monday for rescuing a woman and child from a burning home near Admiral and Sheridan.
