- ➤ A radar-confirmed tornado touched down in Owasso Wednesday morning—damaging homes and businesses. FOX 23
- ➤ A possible tornado tore through Owasso yesterday — damaging homes and knocking down power lines near Highway 169 and between 86th and 96th Streets as residents assessed the damage while officials warned that more storms are expected tonight. News On 6
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Tuesday night, Tulsa Police Department officers responded to shots fired at the Walmart on 81st and Lewis and found that one person was injured—one individual is in custody while investigators gathered evidence and took witness statements. KTUL
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Cherokee Nation released its annual economic impact report that showed a $3.1 billion effect and investments of $7.8 million for schools plus $17.5 million for scholarships. Some community members urged the nation to extend support for Cherokee members both inside and outside the reservation—security supervisor Chelsea Scott and Chief Chuck Hoskin, Jr. stressed the need for more health care jobs as the nation works on a new Salina medical facility. 2 News
