- ➤ The Rose District Farmers Market returns to Broken Arrow with Oklahoma-made and grown goods and kids' activities; the two-day market begins tomorrow on April 5 and runs on Tuesdays from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. until October—shoppers can use SNAP benefits and enjoy DUO and the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program. - ➤ A tornado tore through Owasso neighborhoods Wednesday morning, causing roof damage and alarming residents who described the noise as a mix of a freight train and jet engine — Owasso police reported no injuries. KTUL

- ➤ Whirlpool Corporation said its Tulsa facility near 76th Street North and Highway 75 is closed as it checks for damage from Wednesday morning's tornado—no injuries were reported and employees were safely evacuated. FOX 23

- ➤ Saturday, April 5, ryan’s version will perform an acoustic tribute to Taylor Swift’s album Reputation at Belafonte — 306 S. Phoenix Ave., Tulsa — at 8 p.m. The 70-minute show will feature ten stripped-down renditions and two secret songs from Taylor Swift’s catalog. News On 6
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ In Oklahoma, about 5,800 children are in foster care & more than 700 additional families are needed to provide safe homes. The Department of Human Services will guide new foster families through background checks & required training to get them ready for caring for children in need. News On 6
- ➤ Work will soon resume on Tulsa’s I-44/US-75 traffic henge interchange as crews restart the project using a $95 million federal grant, leading to the westbound I-44 off-ramp closure at 9 a.m. Monday and nightly US-75 lane closures until April 18. Skelly Drive will close on April 8 until early June while the project merges three phases into one—drivers must use detours such as eastbound I-244. News On 6

- ➤ Tulsa Housing Authority’s Phoenix @ 36N project in North Tulsa is more than 80 percent complete, and officials say the four-story complex will be finished by July so tenants can move in by August — offering 100 affordable one- and two-bedroom units with full kitchens and washer-dryer combos.
