- ➤ In north Tulsa, community members reported stray pets are causing safety issues, including nearly tripping bicyclists (as noted by a local bike club). Tulsa officials have allocated funds for nearly 100 spay/neuter vouchers and will announce new measures soon to reduce the problem. 2 News
- ➤ City departments in Owasso are joining forces during the holiday season to clean select neighborhoods as part of the Owasso Strong Neighborhood Initiative—this effort aims to boost the local economy by keeping schools and businesses strong. - ➤ Tulsa Public Schools may reintroduce driver’s ed as an elective course for students if bond measure Prop 4 passes on April 7—ending a decade-long gap. Superintendent Ebony Johnson said the program, costing about $3.3 million from transportation funds, would help students learn to drive for better job access. 2 News
- ➤ Voters in Inola Public School District will decide Tuesday on two bond proposals splitting nearly $60 million to fix classrooms, facilities & add air conditioning. If both pass, the district will upgrade rooms, install storm shelters, and build a new upper elementary campus, with funding raised by a tax increase. News On 6
