- ➤ The City of Tulsa broke ground on a new 13-mile Gilcrease Trail near the museum as part of a $3.5 million project (in collaboration with the Tulsa Bike Club and the University of Tulsa) that will open in early 2027 to boost community connection in north Tulsa. 2 News

- ➤ South Bixby residents will soon have new shopping and dining options as the 150-acre Spartan Creek project west of 151st and Memorial will host nearly 40 national brands along with two planned Walmart stores that could add up to 1,000 jobs. 2 News

- ➤ Mayfest will shift key events to Mother Road Market from May 15 to 17 as organizers reimagine the longtime festival while planning additional activities in other Tulsa neighborhoods in the coming year. 2 News
- ➤ Temple Israel is breaking ground on its new facility (which will retain features from its 70-year-old building) on Sunday, April 12 at 3:30 p.m. The project is raising $12.5 million and will include two sanctuaries plus a new Sacred Garden. FOX 23

- ➤ Former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg will hold a town hall event in Tulsa on Saturday, April 18 at 5:30 p.m. Mayor Monroe Nichols invited him after a February meeting at the U.S. Conference of Mayors to introduce him as he prepares to answer public questions on key issues leading into the midterm election.
