- ➤ Temple Israel is breaking ground on a $14.5 million project to build a new temple after 70 years in its current home (the design will preserve the iconic Ten Commandments tablets). Construction will continue for a year and is set to serve the community for generations. FOX 23
- ➤ Metropolitan Ministries opened its first membership-based grocery, The Bazaar Store, today in northeast Tulsa to offer fresh, locally sourced food to an area long considered a food desert; the store will host a community garden next weekend. News On 6
- ➤ Residents in north Tulsa are rebuilding after the F-1 tornado on March 6 that damaged roofs, while Tulsa Tech arranged for students from its unsafe Peoria campus. - ➤ Today, Tulsa broke ground on a 13-mile trail system near the Gilcrease Museum in west Tulsa. The $3.5 million project is funded entirely by private donations and will begin with a gravel parking area before the trail opens early 2027. FOX 23
