- ➤ Bloom on BLVD Festival will take place April 19th from 4 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. at WOMPA in Tulsa and will feature EDM music on two stages—one outdoor main stage and one indoor silent disco. - ➤ Today, a new full-service micro grocery store opened at Tulsa Dream Center to serve about 10,000 residents in a local food desert—RG Foods replaced its mobile service with the permanent Grocery Box that accepts SNAP, EBT and nutrition cards. - ➤ Yesterday, Tulsa Police welcomed 14 new officers who began field training after graduating from a long academy, Captain Richard Meulenberg said on April 17th at 10:02 a.m. The department also honored 911 dispatchers during Telecommunicators Week and announced a new COPES (Community Outreach Psychiatric Emergency Services) partnership to help connect callers with mental health care while urging residents to use police stations for safe transactions. - ➤ Those affected by last month's wildfires can get free one-time counseling sessions at the Al Carlozzi Center for Counseling at OSU-Tulsa—available in-person or virtually to build coping skills and access local resources. The center will refer clients to ongoing therapy if needed. FOX 23
