- ➤ Tulsa celebrates Easter with a variety of events including family egg hunts, breakfast with the Easter Bunny, creative workshops, and an adult egg hunt—many of which run today and earlier this weekend at local parks, churches, and attractions. - ➤ Monte Cassino hosted a diaper drive that collected 26,836 diapers and 24 packages of baby wipes for Catholic Charities in Tulsa. The school record was set by students who helped sort the donations, and the group has given over 302,000 diapers since 2013. KTUL
ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Michael Gee is grieving after his 7-year-old son Ty'Shaun was hit by a car while trying to cross a street in Tulsa earlier this week, and police say the driver is cooperating as his siblings witnessed the accident and plans are made for a burial in Louisiana and a fundraiser to cover expenses. - ➤ The 2024 Tulsa Equality Indicators report showed Tulsa reached its highest equality score since tracking began, with progress in education and economic opportunity marked by a score of 43.09 + a 16-point gain in education.
