- ➤ Paige Guymon, a Jenks mom, started a petition to keep the planetarium open after local schools closed it to reduce upkeep costs. She will speak at the school board on May 11 as community members push to secure funds for continued classroom use. 2 News

- ➤ Pittsburg County leaders meet 11:30 a.m. this morning at the courthouse in McAlester to discuss a proposed data center that may be built in Pittsburg or Atoka County.
