  • Hospitality House of Tulsa marked its 20th anniversary on Wednesday at its annual Care Keeper Luncheon held in Tulsa. The event brought community members together to celebrate two decades of service.  FOX 23
  • On Wednesday, Revitalize T-Town provided free safety repairs to Clarencetta White's home, replacing windows & a storm door, adding grab bars, an ADA-compliant toilet, and fixing sheetrock. The nonprofit serves older Tulsa homes as weather challenges grow.  KTUL

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Meta announced its new AI data center at Fair Oaks Industrial Innovation Park will be built with Meta funding plus $25m for public infrastructure and a 25‐year tax incentive generating $62.5m for Tulsa. Councilor Bellis criticized the company for poor engagement, while Mayor Nichols did not comment.  2 News

  • A West Tulsa man booked an echocardiogram at Ascension St. John Hospital, assuming his insurance would cover the test until he received a nearly $10,000 bill because the hospital was out-of-network. He set up a payment plan and later saw the charge reduced (a reminder to check network status).  2 News
  • A FOX23 ride-along captured GRAND Mental Health’s outreach teams on Tulsa streets helping a man after an apparent overdose earlier this week – the unfiltered footage aired on Apr. 22, showing the teams’ life-saving efforts.
