- ➤ Julius Dean Griffin, a 43-year-old Tulsa man, was federally charged with 23 counts on April 24th after a raid at his Creek County home where officers seized dogs, cash, drugs and firearms—evidence of a long-running illegal dog-fighting operation. News On 6

- ➤ City Auditor Nathan Pickard has launched the 'Evaluate the 918' survey to ask Tulsa residents what they like about the city and what they feel needs improvement. He said nearly 250 responses so far — a sign of strong interest — will help guide his office as it reviews city services, including streets and homelessness, and the survey runs until May 7th. KTUL
- ➤ The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority warned Oklahomans about smishing text scams using the PIKEPASS logo and website when texts falsely claim unpaid tolls and threaten vehicle impoundment—OTA said these messages are not from them and urged people to report any suspicious texts. The agency also reported more than 20,000 calls to its customer service team and is working with the FBI to take down fake websites—customers are advised to verify toll balances online. News On 6
