- ➤ Mayfest’s second day kicked off with its first ever Mayfit 5K held before vendor doors opened at 9:00 a.m.—over a thousand participants ran through downtown Tulsa while enjoying wellness activities and collecting hand-designed medals from local artists. FOX 23
- ➤ The Broken Arrow Police Department held their fourth annual Cowboys, Cops and Kids Exceptional Rodeo for children with special needs—featuring a mechanical bull, horseback riding, pony riding, a petting zoo, dummy roping, stick horse barrel race and finger painting on a horse. - ➤ Families and friends gathered at B.C. Franklin Park to honor two Tulsa students and two coaches killed in a head-on collision on Sunday night — DJ Laster Jr.'s funeral is held today while a celebration of life for Kyrin is set for May 16. KTUL
