  • 20-year-old Mason received a unique birthday gift on Saturday when local volunteers built a prayer chapel in his backyard as part of his Make-A-Wish request; it is the first-ever chapel wish granted in Oklahoma and now offers him a dedicated space for worship.  News On 6
  • The 2026 Tulsa St. Jude Dream Home in Owasso opened with a ribbon cutting ceremony Saturday morning and is now available for tours — open house tours run on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m. until June 21.  FOX 23

  • The 95th Annual Rooster Days Festival is taking place today in Broken Arrow — the event features local music, crafts, and activities for all ages throughout the weekend.  FOX 23
  • Earlier this week, artist JEKS returned to the Grooper building in downtown Tulsa to paint a new mural of musician Leon Russell near 3rd Street - Frankfort Avenue. The update refreshes the popular 2018 artwork and honors his musical legacy.  2 News
  • Downtown, the fifth annual Black Wall Street Rally honors past hardships and celebrates community spirit. Visitors have enjoyed food, music and shopping since May 15 and the event continues through today while reflecting on history.  2 News
  • Tulsa artists, vendors + visitors gathered at Mother Road Market on May 16 as the reimagined Mayfest Roadtrip spread festival spirit to new local spots.  FOX 23
  • On Saturday night, Money Chicha delivered a free show at Guthrie Green in downtown Tulsa, blending psychedelic cumbia and Latin funk. The Austin based band (featuring members of Grammy winning Grupo Fantasma) energized the spring community events in the Tulsa Arts District.  FOX 23

  • Oklahoma drivers can soon order a commemorative Route 66 license plate that supports preservation, tourism and education — the black plate featuring a neon shield was approved by House Bill 3147 and requires 100 prepaid signups before production begins.  FOX 23
