  • Authorities are searching for 16-year-old Brooklyn Turley, who was last seen in Ponca City on May 12. A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until 7 a.m. CDT—while a flood watch remains through Monday evening for eastern Oklahoma counties including Tulsa—as heavy rainfall is expected to increase flooding risks.  FOX 23

ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • Severe storms hit Tulsa on May 24th, causing more than 53,000 customers to lose power as downed lines and blocked roads in areas like Owasso and Claremore delayed repairs—PSO says restoration will take several hours.  News On 6

  • City crews in Tulsa cleared storm debris after strong winds downed tree limbs across several neighborhoods—officials reminded residents to follow green waste disposal guidelines for safe yard clean-up.  News On 6

HEALTH NEWS

  • The Grand River Dam Authority issued an advisory ahead of Memorial Day weekend after heavy rains raised E. coli levels at water sites including Elk River, Grand Lake, Wolf Bay, Lake Hudson, and other areas when samples were taken on May 23. Officials urge visitors to follow safe swimming practices+ to help prevent illness.  KTUL
