- ➤ Growing Together, a Tulsa nonprofit, is partnering with local groups to build long-term affordable homes in Kendall-Whittier using a mixed-income neighborhood trust—its model reinvests local rent dollars into renovated and rental units. Over the last three years the project added 47 homes and it plans to more than double that number to support more families in the community. News On 6
- ➤ The City of Tulsa, with Intermountain Forensics and the Greenwood Cultural Center, will host Community Engagement Genealogy Workshops from June 20—22 at the 36th Street North Event Center to guide residents in family tree research and DNA basics. Workshops run on Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m.—4 p.m. with an optional session on Sunday, and early registration is required due to limited space. FOX 23
