  • The Parent Child Center of Tulsa hosted its It Takes a Village Resource Fair on Saturday, May 30 from 9:30 a.m. until noon at 1421 S. Boston Avenue. The event connected mothers and caregivers with local health, education, and family services, plus offered free classes and fun activities for kids.  KTUL
  • The Tulsa Brunch Festival was held downtown along the Capital Cruise parade route on May 30 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., featuring chef tastings, food trucks, live music, and family activities while raising funds for the Route 66 Green Book Project and a Smithsonian exhibition in the Cathedral District.  KTUL
  • Mayor Monroe Nichols said visitors from across the United States and other countries came to Tulsa for the Capital Cruise world record attempt on Route 66. Organizers stationed 10 stewards along the parade route at Mother Road Market to verify more than 5,000 registered vehicles.  News On 6
  • A custom 1971 Ford F-100 restored by Vice Grip Garage founder Derek Bieri sold for $38,000 Friday night at the Capital Cruise auction to benefit Tulsa Mayfest. Bieri is set to drive the truck as grand marshal — ownership will then be transferred to the Mansells.  News On 6
