- ➤ Billy and Tina, two Asian elephants that arrived from Los Angeles in May, are now in quarantine at Tulsa Zoo as they adjust to their new home—visitors will see them by mid-June. 2 News

- ➤ Tulsa police said on June 1 that a man named Parker Grayson Brown was killed after ambushing officers near Eisenhower International School, and he was due in court on June 11 for a DUI arrest while he had faced charges in 2016 (including an attempted arson incident). 2 News
- ➤ Tulsa County District Attorney Steve Kunzweiler requested that Judge Sharon Holmes be recused from the murder trial of Noe Cruz after she held a private conversation with the defendant and relaxed his house arrest conditions—raising concerns about the trial's fairness. FOX 23
