- ➤ Wild Heart Ranch in Claremore is only accepting fawns, raccoons and birds from Rogers County due to overcrowding—its fawn room is full and testing has found bird flu in some birds while concerns over chronic wasting disease in fawns persist. The facility will work with callers to help locate alternate resources for other animals. FOX 23

- ➤ The Oklahoma Corporation Commission approved PSO’s $730M purchase of a Jenks power plant yesterday to help meet rising energy demands. PSO customers will see their average monthly bill rise by about $7.19 starting in August as the acquisition is completed by July. News On 6
- ➤ A new state law allows childcare workers to receive state-funded care for their children if they meet income rules, a measure intended to ease staffing shortages in childcare centers. - ➤ A Tulsa firefighter who battled exhaustion and seizures for a year and a half found answers when doctors discovered her iliac vein was 90% compressed—blocking blood flow and causing her symptoms. - ➤ Life Senior Services is hosting a free Lifestyle and Wellness Expo on Tuesday, July 8 at Expo Square’s Exchange Center from 8:30 until 2:30 to provide seniors with health screenings, legal advice and educational talks.
