  • On Monday around 6:40 a.m. Tulsa police responded to a domestic disturbance near S. 95th E. Ave and later stopped a white Dodge Charger where five teens were arrested after a search uncovered a loaded handgun and two other handguns reported stolen.  KTUL

CULTURE NEWS

  • Cowboy Bob, a 20-foot-tall statue inspired by local Route 66 culture, is being assembled for installation this summer in Tulsa's Meadow Gold District near 11th Street and Peoria Avenue. Local sponsors fund the project and buyers of commemorative bricks will help complete the installation as he joins Tulsa’s collection of giant roadside figures.  News On 6

  • A new study by economist Dr. Kyle Dean shows tribal output in Oklahoma reached $23.4 billion, a 27% rise since the last report—boosting sectors like healthcare, education, and gaming. Tribal gaming generated $7.4 billion, supported 24,900 jobs, and sent over $200 million in exclusivity fees to the state.  KTUL
