- ➤ Police in Skiatook charged a 49 year old man with first degree murder after officers found a woman dead under a blanket with a gunshot at her home near West Chestnut Place and Osage Street. Strong thunderstorms will impact Rogers and nearby areas with gusty winds up to 40 mph until 10:45 p.m. CDT which may knock down small tree limbs and blow unsecured items. FOX 23

- ➤ A mountain biker broke his leg on the black-rated 'Where's My Jet' trail at Turkey Mountain yesterday when Tulsa Fire Department Bike Team and EMSA quickly rescued him around 4:30 p.m.—officials advise riders to heed trail ratings and take safety precautions. News On 6
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Owasso police arrested 32-year-old Dustin Michael Justice after he hid in Atwood’s and attempted to steal over $3,000 in power tools at around 1:30 a.m., recovering tools (valued at over $3,400) and finding him later in a locked porta-potty (located at the Owasso Sportsplex) before booking him on burglary and drug charges. - ➤ Tulsa police said a woman holding a butcher knife charged at officers during a domestic disturbance at a home on Admiral Boulevard and 193rd East Avenue on July 5—an officer shot her as she charged and she died despite receiving first aid while the investigation continues. 2 News

- ➤ Saint Mark's United Methodist in north Tulsa — which hosted a school supply drive this morning — collected crayons, markers and pencils for Lewis and Clark Elementary School students for the upcoming 2025-26 school year; the drive will continue each Sunday in July. FOX 23
