- ➤ 918 Boats and Operation Wakesurf—local partners—will host the second annual 'Salute 2 Service' event on Skiatook Lake from July 16–18 to honor first responders, active-duty military and veterans with watersports and time to unwind. - ➤ Paul Allen, the former volunteer treasurer for Oklahomans for Equality, pleaded guilty on July 8th to embezzling over $130,000 from the group — he received a 7-year deferred sentence and must pay $60,000 in restitution — after an earlier arrest. FOX 23
