- ➤ After a 16-day mission in Texas — where floodwaters caused severe damage — Oklahoma Task Force 1 returned to Tulsa on July 21. Captain Bell said his team helped locate nearly all the missing — fewer than five people remained unaccounted for — after officials had initially reported over 100 missing. 2 News
- ➤ Collinsville city commissioners approved rezoning on Monday, July 21st—clearing the way for new housing and commercial development on 150 acres near Highway 169 and 136th Street North. City Manager Chuck Ralls said the developer will now begin hydrology and drainage studies before the city seeks a FEMA floodplain review as planning continues. News On 6
- ➤ Bill and Lisa Woolley in Wagoner County have fought for seven years to see their grandson Clayton after false charges in a case against another grandson were dropped. A judge consolidated their visitation case with another pending matter, delaying a hearing on July 21 — the grandparents now plan to ask Judge Brown to recuse because they claim she is biased. 2 News

- ➤ Ascension St. John in Tulsa announced on Monday, July 21st at 5:22 p.m. that it is now the first Level 1 Trauma Center in northeast Oklahoma in time for its 100th anniversary. News On 6
- ➤ EMSA warned Tulsa residents today as medics responded to 21 heat-related illness calls since Friday and reported nearly 200 emergencies with over 100 hospital transports, according to paramedic Jeffrey Hardison. The National Weather Service said the heat advisory is in effect with mid-90s temperatures and a 105 heat index rising to around 108—109 by the weekend, urging people to stay hydrated and take frequent breaks.
