- ➤ Today, Skiatook Paws & Claws Animal Rescue held an event for 37 Maltese dogs rescued from a breeder in Stroud — the dogs are now available for adoption. Board member Amber Ridenour said the team and the Humane Society of Tulsa provided extensive socialization and stressed that new owners must follow detailed care instructions — ensuring the dogs adjust safely to their new homes.
