  • Google announced its plan to invest $9 billion over the next two years to expand its data centers in Pryor and Stillwater, boost Oklahoma’s electrical workforce and launch AI education programs. The company will team with state and local leaders—Gov. Kevin Stitt among them—to create new jobs and build skills in the region.  News On 6

CRIME NEWS

  • Tulsa County deputies arrested Khara Taylor, the caretaker of an 80-year-old man found in neglected conditions who lost 70 pounds over several months—neighbors alerted Adult Protective Services, and authorities are investigating potential financial crimes.  News On 6

EDUCATION NEWS

  • TTCU donated more than $23,000 to Tulsa Public Schools to support local teachers and students as part of its focus on education for over 90 years. The donation comes through its School Pride® Card Program that has given over $3 million to area schools statewide — reinforcing its longstanding commitment to education.  FOX 23

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Tulsa Mayor Monroe Nichols addressed key city challenges as he confirmed that Joe Kralicek resigned as Emergency Management director late Tuesday and recommended an interim replacement—county commissioners will review the proposal soon. He also outlined plans to cut unsheltered homelessness by 60% by moving 300 people into permanent housing and noted that the downtown youth curfew led to 155 guns being removed and several arrests while Tulsa Public Schools made progress in hiring.  News On 6
