- ➤ Hundreds of Maltese rescued from a breeder began their journey to forever homes when Humane Society of Tulsa held its first adoption day on Wednesday with 26 adopted and 59 transferred to partner shelters. The shelter also mourned the loss of Fran— a 10-year-old female who died while giving birth— and urged the community to donate, foster or adopt to raise awareness about puppy mills. FOX 23

- ➤ Tulsa Police arrested a passenger and an accessory after a 34-year-old man was stabbed in the parking lot of Rooster's Sports Bar early Friday — officers, guided by their helicopter, located a suspect vehicle near Highway 169 and the Broken Arrow Expressway before the victim was rushed to a hospital for emergency surgery. - ➤ Tulsa residents are on high alert after three random violent attacks in the past month, including an attempted rape at Hunter Park and separate sexual assaults at Turkey Mountain, and police say the two most recent cases may be linked to one suspect — authorities plan to add cameras and increase patrols.
