- ➤ Tulsa will celebrate its eighth annual 918Day starting on September 18 with Mayor Nichols launching the MonroeOnTheGo tour to visit nine schools and eight local businesses — a move to support youth and local commerce. On September 20 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the 918Day Passport Challenge will let participants collect stamps at district stops for a chance to win a giveaway. KTUL

- ➤ La Fiesta de Tulsa 2025 is set to take place on Sept. 13 in east Tulsa to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. Organized by Global District in partnership with Tulsa Public Schools and the Consulate of Mexico in Oklahoma City, the event will include a parade that starts at Cooper Elementary and ends at Hannah Hall—where live performances, food trucks and a traditional Grito de Independencia ceremony will be held. - ➤ Tulsa Innovation Labs hosted the Collab2025 event on Wednesday to celebrate growth in Tulsa's tech industry and share plans for more jobs and federal funds. - ➤ Attorney General Gentner Drummond issued a binding opinion on Wednesday—declaring obscene drag performances in public or before minors illegal—and said his office will guide law enforcement to prosecute violators. News On 6
- ➤ Tulsa Mayor Monroe Nichols criticized the state's Operation SAFE initiative for failing to coordinate with city services—saying it disrupted homeless outreach and lacked a proper housing plan. News On 6

- ➤ Developers plan the Riverline mixed-use project near 81st and Lewis to include 700 apartments and 200,000 square feet of retail as part of the new T.I.F. district created by the city and Muscogee Creek Nation — a move expected to boost housing and jobs in south Tulsa.
