- ➤ Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond, the FTC, and 21 state agencies halted a deceptive fundraising scheme run by Kars-R-Us.com—led by Michael Irwin and Lisa Frank—that raised over $45M nationwide for breast cancer screenings although records show less than one percent of the funds were spent on the actual screenings. - ➤ At the Tulsa State Fair yesterday, eight parrots wowed fans with painting, roller skating and basketball in Squawk! - ➤ Tulsa County Commissioners approved four tax incentive districts for Project Clydesdale, a planned data center near Owasso, on Monday, September 29th at 4:11 p.m.—the area had been rezoned as local groups raised concerns about water use and job creation. Commissioners said they would keep working to ensure more local hires as the project moves forward. News On 6
- ➤ ODOT reviewed hundreds of creative entries from K–12 students and turned the decision over to the public for naming 24 snowplows—residents can vote online from Sept.29 until Oct.3, the winners will be announced Oct.10, and the new tracking system will launch Oct.27. KTUL

- ➤ Tulsa hospitals Ascension St. John and Saint Francis earned Level One Trauma Center certification after meeting American College of Surgeons standards—this upgrade will help patients get the best care in emergencies.
