- ➤ Big Bounce America—the world’s largest touring inflatable playground—will bring over 26,000 square feet of bounce house fun to Tulsa this weekend with live music, themed zones, food trucks, and a VIP area. Organizers said incoming weather will reduce the event to one day on Saturday or Sunday, and the final date will be confirmed by email. News On 6
- ➤ Tulsa’s 48th annual TTCU Tulsa Run is set for this weekend with 15K, 5K and 2K races, with the 5K starting at 7:30 a.m., 2K at 8 a.m. and 15K at 8:30 a.m. Packet pickup is available at VFW Post 577 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday and today—spectators can cheer along at Dream Keepers Park, Woodward Park and Veterans Park. - ➤ The Tulsa-City County Library opened its new Bronson Brookside Library on Thursday at 4607 South Madison Place in Tulsa. It doubled the original size, added a large children’s space and makers’ area, and is the first of four branches planned under the MY Library, OUR Future campaign—designed to expand services and support community growth. - ➤ Tulsa Flyer launched its nonprofit newsroom and website yesterday with a 20-person staff and partnerships with The Oklahoma Eagle and Griffin Media to deliver free community news—covering local government, education, culture, and more. - ➤ City Lights Foundation gave Tulsa a first look at City Lights Village—an effort building 30 new homes and a community center for people experiencing homelessness.
