- ➤ The Junior League of Tulsa delivered donated feminine hygiene products during its annual Find the Good Day to support nearly 1,000 local women and girls who struggle to afford essential hygiene. Since launching the campaign in 2024, the group has collected over 20,000 items with an impact valued at more than $18,000 — reaching recipients at The Common Good, Resonance and Ronald McDonald House. - ➤ John 3:16 Mission has launched its annual Thanksgiving food drive in Tulsa as volunteers have been collecting nonperishable items and frozen turkeys from November 1—22 at select grocery stores and Under the Sun Garden Center. Families in need will pick up food boxes on November 22 and November 24 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the mission’s Family and Youth Center on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. News On 6
- ➤ Victory Church is hosting an ongoing food drive to help families facing food insecurity due to suspended SNAP benefits, with donations accepted daily at its Central Campus lobby and Monday through Thursday at its Dream Center locations+ weekly food distributions are offered during Sunday services along with grocery pickups for those unable to attend. - ➤ A Broken Arrow mom, Tammy Murray, started The Giving Tent to help families get food and clothing amid a government shutdown and reduced SNAP benefits. The tent is open 24/7 + has served over 100 people since August while planning to create 200 meal kits in November. 2 News
- ➤ Today, the Red Cross in Tulsa launched a food and hygiene drive to help military families facing delayed pay due to the government shutdown—volunteers will collect nonperishable food, hygiene products and baby supplies at 10151 E 11th St until November 7th. - ➤ The Five Moons sculptures honoring Oklahoma’s Native American ballerinas have been moved to the Museum of Tulsa History Gardens at 2445 S.
