  • A Tulsa family has established a TCC scholarship in memory of a woman known for her determination, compassion and love for animals—the program will support students who share her commitment to animal care. The scholarship honors her legacy and helps keep her spirit alive in the community.  FOX 23
  • More than two dozen Claremore Public Schools teachers received bonus stipends yesterday through the Oklahoma Teacher Empowerment Program, a state effort to boost high-performing educators.   • The Tulsa Zoo opened its new 10-acre Asian Elephant Preserve Yard today to give its herd (seven elephants) a more natural space with streams, grasses, and a pond. Visitors can watch the animals in the experience building where screens show different parts of the elephant complex.  News On 6
