About this event
Every student should be able to picture themselves as a scientist, and every professional should feel they belong in their field. Join Tulsa Regional STEM Alliance for a community screening of Picture a Scientist . This documentary follows women researchers who faced career barriers and are working to change the culture of science.
After the film, we’ll lead a guided audience discussion on the power of personal stories and what we can do here in Tulsa to make STEM a place where everyone is welcome. Stay afterward to meet TRSA team members in the lobby and learn how you can help open doors for the next generation through volunteer opportunities like Me & My Math Mentor, Women in STEM, and the Tulsa Regional Science Fair.
Open to STEM professionals, educators, and community members. This event is free, but registration is required .
