Tonight, a group of friends will share their stories from a summer pilgrimage on the Camino de Santiago. The Camino is an ancient journey taken by many each year.
The Well is a casual faith community that gathers each Sunday evening for music, scripture, storytelling and conversations centered around a shared meal.
Our gathering is also unique in our mix of sacred/secular music selections and saying prayers together. The feel of the room is easy and relaxed and the welcome into conversations is real from the greeting song, fun common ground questions to the table conversations after the storytelling.
We gather each Sunday at Wildflower Cafe in downtown Tulsa. 913 S. Boulder Ave. Greeters are at the door with a smile and will invite you to grab a name tag in the chapel before going into the cafe for dinner. Dinner actually starts a couple minutes before 5 pm, and goes until about 5:33 pm. After dinner, we all bus our own tables, a rotating kitchen crew washes the dishes, and after a 10 minute break, we gather in the chapel for our story, music and conversations. The entire gathering wraps up around 6:30-6:40.
