- ➤ Today, Tulsa Day Center is holding its Goody2Shoes drive — a shoe collection effort to mark World Homelessness Day — and asks visitors to drop off gently used tennis shoes at 415 West Archer Street. - ➤ Catholic Charities of Eastern Oklahoma said that Pope Leo XIV’s new apostolic exhortation 'I have loved you' reaffirmed its mission to aid poor families in 31 counties. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Oklahoma and tribes clashed over hunting and fishing rights when state officials enforced license rules that tribes said violated treaty rights on reservation land. Tribal leaders from the Cherokee, Muscogee and Choctaw Nations argued that their traditional practices do not require state permits—state officials maintain that all hunters must follow the same rules.
