Tulsa Public Schools gets its highest share of A, B or C school grades since 2018

Fewer Oklahoma schools got Ds and Fs than in 2025

1,750
public schools received overall grades statewide
64%
of schools earned an A, B or C
24
fewer schools got a D than in 2025
10
fewer schools got an F than in 2025

If you have a kid in Tulsa Public Schools, the state's 2026 report cards are out. Tulsa World says the results are the highest percentage of TPS schools earning an A, B or C since 2018, district leaders said. Three TPS schools earned an A, and ten earned an F.

  • A grades: Booker T. Washington High, Darnaby Elementary, Henry Zarrow International
  • F grades include Central High, Nathan Hale High and Hawthorne Elementary
  • Webster and McLain: four-year graduation rates up more than ten points
  • State graduation rate: 82.2% for 2024, 77.6% for 2025

Statewide, only about one in four students scored proficient or better in reading and math, and Oklahoma earned a D in academic achievement. State officials said much of the graduation dip came from a federal rule that excludes Core Curriculum diplomas. Superintendent Dr. Ebony Johnson said the district also acknowledges "we have more work ahead."

  • One-bedrooms: start at $985 a month
  • Rents: some income-based, some subsidized

  • Availability: Housing Authority says there's still room

Twenty of the 106 units are set aside for people exiting homelessness. Taxpayer money pays their rent for one year while residents get services, which the city is paying for with COVID federal funds. The city also used its housing accelerator team for the first time to speed up permits. FOX 23 reports there's no market-rate component: it's all affordable.
