Statewide, only about one in four students scored proficient or better in reading and math, and Oklahoma earned a D in academic achievement. State officials said much of the graduation dip came from a federal rule that excludes Core Curriculum diplomas. Superintendent Dr. Ebony Johnson said the district also acknowledges "we have more work ahead."
